Taylor Jarrell, D.D.S.
Dr. Taylor Jarrell is so excited to be given the opportunity to serve the Maryville community! She first moved to east Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she majored in microbiology and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors in Science. During her time in Knoxville, she was a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. One of her favorite memories of college was opening the “T” for the Tennessee Volunteers!
Dr. Jarrell moved to Memphis after college to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Jarrell was the recipient of the Kenneth L. Frame, DDS scholarship for excellence in restorative dentistry, the Gerald R. Karr, DDS Family Scholarship Award for academic excellence, and the University of Tennessee Alumni Association Andy Holt Scholarship for outstanding leadership and community service.
Dr. Jarrell is thrilled to be back in East Tennessee with her husband, Zach, who is a physical therapist with Blount Memorial Hospital. Dr. Jarrell and her husband love to travel, spend time outdoors with their miniature dachshund, Winston, attend their local church, and to do medical mission work. Since 2013, Dr. Jarrell has been actively involved with Hope Smiles, providing dental care to areas of Tennessee that have need. She can’t wait to find areas in Maryville to plug-in to the community and serve!
Dr. Jarrell is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Tennessee 2nd District Dental Society, and the Blount County Dental Society.
