What to Expect at Your First Visit
New to Watson Family Dentistry? Here’s what to expect.
We look forward to meeting you! At your first appointment, please expect to spend one and a half to two hours with us. We’ll begin by taking full mouth X-rays using our advanced ProMax 3D Plus technology. This system minimizes radiation exposure and instantly produces high-resolution images. Clear imaging allows us get a full picture of your oral health to effectively guide your treatment.
After reviewing your X-rays, we’ll assess your oral health and share our findings with you. We’ll also discuss your overall health and oral health goals to make sure we fully understand your needs. Based on our evaluation, we’ll provide recommendations to help you achieve your goals and regain your smile’s health, beauty, and function.
If extensive treatment is needed, our on-site financial coordinator can assist you in exploring payment options. We accept most major dental insurance plans and all major credit cards, and we also offer CareCredit for flexible financing.
This first appointment provides an excellent opportunity for us to get to know you, and vice versa. So be sure to bring along any questions you have about our practice, our approach to patient care, or your oral health. Whether it’s your first appointment or not, we are always happy to answer your questions.
